Barbara's contributions extend beyond dentistry as she volunteers with Meals on Wheels, local charities, and has participated in dental missionary work in Ecuador. Her outstanding achievements, including the New Jersey Dental Association Award for Clinical Excellence, attest to her skill and dedication. Ashley has been our hygienist, serving patients since we opened our doors on day one at Dental Care East Hanover! She is extremely dedicated, passionate about dentistry and compassionate with all patients. She’s very skilled in making nervous patients feel comfortable and getting all her patients to a better state in their oral health journey. Her exceptional care and personalized approach create an atmosphere of comfort and trust, making every patient feel valued and cared for during their dental visits. Due to her commitment to her profession and patients, she’s earned the role of Lead Hygienist at our practice!

Katie received her degree in dental hygiene at New York University College of Dentistry and graduated as the valedictorian of her class. She carries that dedication with her at Dental Care East Hanover as she strives to give her patients the highest level of care possible. When she’s not cleaning teeth at the office, Katie loves to spend time outdoors. She enjoys hiking up mountains, skiing down slopes, and surfing any waves she can find!

Best experience ever. I was accommodated into their schedule for my emergency even though I was a first time patient. The staff was very friendly and professional. The doctor explained everything thoroughly, he took his time, and made sure that I was comfortable. He and the staff are very empathetic and they aim to make you comfortable every step of the way. After years of avoiding dental work, I was excited to find a great new dentist. Dr. Jaafar Ali has not disappointed! Starting with the front desk staff, they were very personable during the initial consultation, and are always sweet and helpful on the phone and in person. Dr. Ali is easy to talk to, down to earth, gentle and caring, and available at all times to deal with off the clock concerns. Ashley has done multiple cleanings for me and I totally love and trust her too! I had 3 crowns put in, all of which needed root canals after the fact. So I spent A LOT of time in the office working through all of these steps. When I had pain, I was able to come in right away to rectify it. Dr. Ali and his staff were very quick to put me at ease. The office is beautiful and new, with TVs on the ceiling to provide full distraction! I never dread going to the dentist. I know I am in good hands, that I will have Nitrous Oxide to calm my anxiety, and I can get lost in a Netflix show of my choice while getting whatever done in my mouth, and I am never concerned or worried about it! I highly recommend Dr. Ali and his staff. I always tell everyone I know about my wonderful dentist!
