Meet Dr. Ali Salehi

Dr. Ali Salehi is a distinguished international dentist with a strong foundation in prosthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. His career began in Europe, where he graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Strasbourg in France. As part of his advanced clinical training, he also studied at the Johannes Gutenberg University Dental Clinic in Mainz, Germany. Complementing his dental education, Dr. Salehi earned a Master of Biological and Medical Sciences from the University of Strasbourg Medical School in 2007.

Following his graduation, Dr. Salehi spent over a decade at the University of Strasbourg’s Department of Prosthodontics—first as a clinical faculty member from 2008 to 2015, and later as a part-time Assistant Professor until 2019. Concurrently, he led his private dental practice from 2011 to 2021, where he developed a reputation for delivering exceptional care in esthetic and restorative dentistry with a minimally invasive approach. 

Dr. Salehi is also an accomplished lecturer, educator, and published author. He has contributed extensively to peer-reviewed journals in French and international publications and co-authored a widely respected textbook chapter on dental ceramics and cementation protocols (Restaurations esthétiques en céramique collée, Etienne & Anckenmann, 2016). He has taught for several years in the Master of Smile Aesthetics program at Strasbourg University. He has lectured across the globe—including in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, North Africa, and Vietnam—on topics such as dental photography, smile design, direct and indirect restorations, and minimally invasive adhesive techniques. Throughout his career, Dr. Salehi has collaborated with leading dental companies, including Ivoclar, GC, DMG, 3M, and SDI, contributing to advancing clinical education and product development.

In 2023, Dr. Salehi was accepted into the highly competitive Advanced Standing Program at the prestigious NYU College of Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in May 2025, a milestone that allows him to obtain licensure and practice dentistry in the United States. With this new chapter, Dr. Salehi is excited to continue his deeply passionate work—delivering exceptional patient care and sharing his knowledge with fellow clinicians—now on this side of the Atlantic.

Beyond his academic and clinical accomplishments, Dr. Salehi is known for his warm and compassionate approach to patient care. He believes in building genuine connections with those he treats, taking the time to listen, understand, and guide each patient with empathy and respect. His gentle demeanor, attention to detail, and dedication to creating a comfortable experience have earned the trust and gratitude of patients from all walks of life. Fluent in English, French, Persian, Spanish, and German, Dr. Salehi’s ability to communicate in multiple languages allows him to connect meaningfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering care that is not only clinically excellent but also culturally sensitive and deeply human.
