If you need to reshape front teeth, close spaces, restore the shape of a tooth, or mask enamel defects, dental bonding is a great alternative to more invasive or expensive dental procedures. Plus, the entire procedure can be done in just one visit!

First, you will meet with one of our dentists to discuss your treatment goals and find a composite resin color that best matches the color of your tooth or teeth, using a shade guide. Your dentist will then make a slight etch into the surface of the tooth to roughen it and apply conditioning liquid that will help the bonding material adhere to your tooth.

Next the tooth-colored, putty-like resin is applied, molded, and smoothed until it is formed into the right shape and then hardened with a high-intensity blue halogen light. Finally, the resin is trimmed, shaped and polished to match the color of the rest of your tooth’s surface. The entire procedure only takes between 30-60 minutes to complete, per tooth, with the end result being a new and improved smile!
